Biography
Kalisway is a singer, songwriter, and producer from Toronto who makes R&B, Hip-Hop and Funk sound current without losing what made it feel good in the first place. She writes, performs, arranges, and produces everything herself, a one person operation. Her debut album Hit 'Em With The Funk arrived self released in 2022, with her first video, Like That, premiered by The FADER. A Kid From Toronto followed in 2024, then Who Is Kalisway in 2025, home to Can't Tell Me Nothing, Ba Bumpin, and Sugar, alongside the Take Me Back (World of Eras) EP. Her catalogue has earned millions of independent streams and a community that keeps growing city by city. Her new album UNSTOPPABLE is out now, led by the single I Like It featuring LAYA, with a release show in Toronto on September 19.
